For office and work days, pick a quieter butta body with a temple border. For poojas, Navaratri and family functions, Ganga Jamuna (two-colour) borders and mayil or yaanai motifs read more festive.

Styling

Every saree comes with a running blouse in the same colour as the body, with the same zari border, so the look is complete. For a change, a contrast cotton blouse works too. Add oxidised silver or light temple gold. Cotton holds a sharp pleat, so it stays neat through a long day.

Body, border and pallu are pure cotton, handwoven. The border is Kanchipuram in style, with zari. Slubs and slight motif variation are marks of handloom.
