A maroon handwoven Kanchi cotton saree with a double side green zari border carrying mankolam paisley, mustard thread buttas across the body and a striped pallu, with a running blouse in the same maroon. Woven in 100% pure cotton with a Kanchipuram-style border in zari, it is light and breathable, suits all body types and is right for office days, temple visits, poojas and festive daytime wear. It comes with an unstitched running blouse piece; dry clean the first wash, then hand wash gently in cold water.

Handwoven in 100% pure cotton — light enough for a full working day, finished enough for a temple morning or a festive lunch. The matching blouse comes with it. Dry clean the first wash, then a gentle cold hand wash.

Mankolam — the Tamil word for the mango or paisley motif, one of the most enduring shapes in South Indian weaving. Here the paisleys run the length of the green border in zari.

Butta — a small woven motif repeated across the body of the saree. The mustard buttas here are woven into the cloth in thread on the loom, not printed or embroidered on afterwards.

Running blouse — the blouse piece is woven as part of the saree, in the same maroon as the body and carrying the same zari border. It is unstitched, so it can be tailored to your measurements.
