A multicolour pure Kanchipuram silk saree woven in large Kattam (checks) of yellow, orange, red, pink, lilac and peach, with kolam zari buttas set in alternate checks. The body is borderless, so the checks run cleanly from edge to edge. The contrast pallu turns to red, woven closely in zari in small checks with Mayil Chakra (peacock medallion) side borders, and the red blouse carries zari checks. Silk Mark certified pure silk with pure zari, handwoven and curated in very limited pieces, it has a light yet poised drape that suits all body types and is right for festive days, family celebrations and wedding celebrations. It comes with an unstitched blouse piece and is dry clean only.

Kattam is the Tamil word for checks, one of the classic patterns of Kanchipuram weaving. Here large checks in yellow, orange, red, pink, lilac and peach run across the whole body.

Kolam is the pattern drawn by hand at the threshold of South Indian homes. Here a kolam is woven in zari as a butta, set in alternate checks.

Mayil Chakra is a peacock (Mayil) woven inside a round medallion (Chakra). Here a row of Mayil Chakras runs down each side of the red pallu.
